Now trying to build this, on Artix GNU/Linux (rolling release), with GCC version 16.2.1, and the following `./configure` call:
```
./configure --prefix=/usr --enable-recursive --enable-native --enable-rplcas --enable-optimization --enable-tex --enable-vim --disable-embedded-gnuplot --enable-gnuplot --enable-motif --enable-experimental --with-x
```

`make -j1` fails with warnings treated as errors:
```
/bin/sh ../libtool  --tag=CC   --mode=compile gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I..  -I.. -I/tmp/RPL-2/source/rpl-4.1.37/rplcas/include -I/tmp/RPL-2/source/rpl-4.1.37/rplcas/include   -g -O2 -mtune=native -march=native  -O3 -fno-strict-overflow  -std=gnu17  -malign-double -Wall -funsigned-char -Wno-pointer-sign -std=gnu17 -MT div_ext.lo -MD -MP -MF .deps/div_ext.Tpo -c -o div_ext.lo div_ext.c
(Note that there are also a lot of other compiler warnings not treated as errors.)
I know that this can be work-arounded by passing `-Wno-error=incompatible-pointer-types` to the `$CFLAGS` environment variable, but I think for up to date compilers the code would need changes for a proper fix.
I did not specify any `$CFLAGS` up to this point.
Regards!
(By the way, is there a possibility to use system installed openmotif and openssl instead of bundling your own?)
