-d install-strip not really better.

mkdir -p missing somewhere ?

You did not trigger this before, because you are doing install on live
system; Gentoo does not :) Gentoo won't ever forgive any mistake of this
kind :)

Messages I posted previously were not very explicit ... but, I dont
think you can change this.

BTW: shouldn't "install" mkdir for us ? I thought in first place I would
find a sandbox problem (some kind of Gentoo specific chroot), but as the
"image" directory contains other subfolders, sandbox was a wrong approach.

Please tell me when you publish a new dailysnap. And, I would have
prefer snapshots to have different names (we already discussed this a
efw months ago).
