Only the source tar files, no bootable image.
I would prefer continuing with git on github, it is a more public server.

I did do some documentation for doxygen format.

Much pre-written documentation is already available.
Trailing-edge has important books like:

EY-C171E-DP VMS Internals and Data Structures 5.2 1991
EY-F575E-DP VMS File System Internals 1990
EL-00032-00-decStd32 Jan90, an internal Vax Architecture Reference Manual

A lot of the source are based on books like these.
(I have used some newer internal books for some parts.)

But there is also unique parts, like how the Linux read/write system
calls are dispatching file activity towards FreeVms RMS parts.
Many things like that will have to be figured out by one self
(kernel work demands much ability), or at least ask about it.
