I was able to build a disk image.
After dropping gcc-3.3 in the Makefiles, the kernel built without errors,
but crashed when starting up both DCL and sash.
(Kernels are very sensitive to GCC changes.)
Both the default linker and FreeVms image linker needed changes in the
linker scripts, but otherwise most of the selected build went fine.
(All changes are in a branch debian6.)

Have now tried to build this on Debian 6, but more recent Bison doesn't
like something with the grammar. (This is not important anyway, since
Bliss is not used for 64-bit FreeVms.)

Have not tried to build this, I know much work is required for newer kernels.
