New release 0.2.8 at
ftp.nvg.ntnu.no:/pub/vms/freevms (freevms-0_2.8.tgz and linker-0_2_6)

New VFS ODS2 at
ftp.nvg.ntnu.no:/pub/linux/ods2/ods2-source_0.9.3.w7_all.deb
(or ods2_0.9.3.w7.tar.gz).

Disk images are named a.img.gz and c.img.gz.
The USE file or reference to it should accompany downloads.
(For x86_64 they are named a.img.x86_64.gz and c.img.x86_64.gz)

News:
i386:
Some PAL SMP support.
x86_64:
VFS ODS2 support.
Both:
VMS mutexes.

Bugs/features fixed:
Both:
Could not mount ext3.
Ne2k driver could be probed when init section was freed.
IPL was not set before spinlock.
DCL tried to run a foreign image without run command.
Assign was not called by system service from simulated executive mode.
Terminal driver did not check for zero read buffer.
Needed some clis at strategic places.
x86_64:
Linux semaphores did not go well with P1 KSP (had to disable it).
VFS ODS2 did not compile etc.
CMUIP size fixes.

New bugs/features:
Probably some.

Notes:
x86_64:
There is no ODS2 file system on the image.
Got my hands on a real one for a couple of days.
But: It must be booted without pagefile.sys and network module; then simple
things like sh def and sh sys works.
Both:
Use one cpu still.
