E17 is configured for UTF8, but i am using Eterm that does not support
it, so, I always got encoding problems (but I really cant stand any
other terminal - really tried many other ones), so

I mail that in few minutes. In a mail that will contain only this.

At first copmpile time, no, so that, I can keep using RPL even during
compile ! I remove old version after compile suceeds, before make
install. All worked well for months with previous versions, with the
same installs cript.

Removed old version, compiled new one (so, at this time, i dont have RPL
installed any more at all, what is a "service disruption") ... and it
failed again.
