[FreeVMS] gcc and VMS calling standard

Okay, that's cool.  I thought it might be useful, though, to also target architectures on which OpenVMS runs and also was wondering about binary compatibility.

Source level compatibility is hard enough, I know.   I've been asked these same questions on the project I'm part of.
