New release 0.3.6 at
ftp.nvg.ntnu.no:/pub/vms/freevms (freevms-0_3_6.tgz and linker-0_2_6)

Disk images are named a.img.gz and c.img.gz.
The USE file or reference to it should accompany downloads.
(For x86_64 they are named a.img.x86_64.gz and c.img.x86_64.gz)
The README file should be read first.

News:
Sysman utility with io load (but no practical driver loaded yet).
Driver interface now resembles more the one of VMS (mailbox driver uses it).
Disk device naming, when partition 1 and 2 called dqa1 and dqa2,
now they are called dqa001 and dqa002.

Bugs/features fixed:
Both:
Backup utility had a gets buffer overflow vulnerability,
pointed out by George John and fixed by Bertrand Joël.
CLI routines and analyze/system examine had number handling problem.
Getdvi return length was missing, plus a fix with return length size.
Instability due to some pte zeroing in p1pp initialization.

New bugs/features:
Probably some.

Notes:
Still SMP problems.
Kernel symbol table handling must be fixed before loading driver file
is practical.
Some code for volume sets has been added.
(Volume sets are allegedly obsolete, but will be added anyway (maybe soon)).
