Hi

New release 0.1.9 at
ftp.nvg.ntnu.no:/pub/vms/freevms (freevms-0_1_9.tgz and linker-0_1_6)

News:
General:
New Bliss compiler, 0.110.
New support for novalue, external_name, alignment attributes.
Linking with argument count and a new compiler qualifier -fminimum-actuals=
which can circumvent non-counted argument problems.
Nullparameter implementation change to accommodate this.
Also some psect support, and implicit and forward declarations.
Librtl with lib$tparse, and Bliss can generate tables for it.

Bugs fixed:
Misc bugs fixed in lib$get_ef and lib$free_ef.
Bliss bug fixes are noted in Bliss HOWTO.
Synchronization related fix in sch$qast.
Serious typos in librtl/src/libgets and starlet.c.

New bugs/features:
Probably some.

Notes:
The Bliss compiler have got support for counted arguments, but it is
currently not used, since it is not the usual way on Linux.
Have instead made a compiler option which can ensure a minimum of
arguments, set to 0 if necessary.
CONFIG_VMS:
And still:
Rename close to close2 in routines.b32 (temporarily).
Telnet client does not work yet, but if you want to debug, run it with
run /vms$common/sysexe/telnet.ele after doing something like sh sys.
It quits due to missing stuff in the console terminal driver.

Regards,
Roar Thronæs
